Proof of Concept

See the vision in motion.

We're building a space and an infrastructure to provide unique spatial experiences that you'll want to bring your fans to Nashville for, or bring Nashville to them wherever they are.

The Rooms

Three rooms, built to flex.

Each space is designed around a core strength but engineered to reconfigure for the production in front of it. The outlines below are starting points, not limits.

Mix Room

Live Room

450 capacity · standing room · L-ISA immersive playback

A large-format immersive playback and performance space anchored by an L-ISA system. Built for audiences, but readily blocked out for other uses.

  • Immersive listening and playback events
  • Large recording room, e.g. a scoring stage
  • Staged productions such as a small boxing ring
  • Flexible floor for bespoke configurations
Mix Room

Bunker

Broadcast-facing · front-of-house workflow

A focused control environment suited to audio-only broadcast mixing and integration with a broadcast-truck workflow for the front-of-house system.

  • Audio-only broadcast mixing
  • Broadcast-truck / OB integration
  • Front-of-house system workflow
  • Monitoring-first, distraction-free layout
Mix Room

Loft

Writing · production · artist collaboration

A warmer, character-rich room made for creative sessions and collaboration, a space with the feel of a "Tiny Desk"-style setting.

  • Writing and production sessions
  • Artist collaborations
  • Intimate performance and capture
  • Relaxed, vibe-forward environment
Technology Partners

Integrated with best-in-class media technology.

From volumetric and holographic capture to immersive sound and broadcast delivery, the facility is built around proven partner systems.

Broadcast-facing audio mixing and capture for front-of-house and remote workflows.

Ateme

Trusted by some of the worlds largest broadcast and OTT provider for their most important streams. Ateme is the chosen partner for the Mix Room, providing mult-format ingest encode and packaging, your production is in industry leading hands.

Chosen specifically for their support of workflows for immersive audio and video. The team as Mix Room is committed to working on next-generation workflows that will give your content, concert or concept a longetivity that leads the pack.

Shure

Few names carry the trust that Shure does in professional audio. Nearly a century of microphone and wireless engineering has made them the reference on stages, in studios and in broadcast booths worldwide.

We standardize on Shure for capture and wireless across all three rooms, so whether it is a vocal in the Loft or a broadcast position in the Bunker, the signal chain starts with a microphone your engineers already know and trust.

Lawo

For broadcast professionals, Lawo needs little introduction: German-engineered mixing consoles and IP audio infrastructure that sit at the heart of the world's most demanding live productions and OB trucks.

Our Bunker is built around a Lawo core, giving broadcast mixers and visiting trucks a native, standards-based ST 2110 audio backbone they can patch into on day one, with the routing headroom that immersive and multi-format work demands.

Immersive and traditional capture feeding the production and streaming pipeline.

Blackmagic CineURSA Immersive

The Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive is the first camera system built to capture Apple Immersive Video for Vision Pro, with dual 8K sensors delivering 8160 x 7200 per eye, 16 stops of dynamic range and a purpose-built stereoscopic 180-degree lens.

We have integrated URSA Cine Immersive so productions can shoot true immersive capture in-house and take it straight through a Blackmagic RAW and DaVinci Resolve pipeline, whether the deliverable is a headset experience or a live immersive feed over the 100G ST 2110 model.

Sony / Canon

For traditional acquisition we lean on the two names cinematographers reach for without thinking. Between them, Sony and Canon cover everything from large-format cinema sensors to the broadcast and documentary glass that crews already own and love.

Rather than lock the facility to a single system, we keep Sony and Canon bodies and lenses in the workflow so productions can match the look they want and feed clean 2D and traditional coverage alongside our immersive rigs.

LightSailVR

LightSailVR is an Emmy-winning immersive studio and one of the creative forces behind the Red Rocks Live in VR series for Meta, alongside a run of immersive world-firsts that includes their Emmy-winning Saturday Night Live 50th Anniversary experience.

They are our creative partner for immersive storytelling, bringing a decade of production craft to how we capture, stage and finish experiences in the rooms, so the technology serves the story rather than the other way around.

Ateme

Trusted by some of the worlds largest broadcast and OTT provider for their most important streams. Ateme is the chosen partner for the Mix Room, providing mult-format ingest encode and packaging, your production is in industry leading hands.

Live performance and streaming delivery across the leading immersive formats.

L-Acoustics L-ISA

L-Acoustics L-ISA is the benchmark for object-based immersive sound in live spaces, the system behind many of the most talked-about immersive concerts and residencies worldwide.

For our Live Room we went straight to the industry leader and built the region's first L-ISA immersive system in a live venue, giving artists and audiences hyperreal, spatial sound at full concert scale.

Dolby Atmos

Dolby Atmos is the format the industry has standardized on for immersive music and screen sound, and the one most artists, labels and platforms will ask for by name.

All three of our immersive-enabled rooms are equipped to produce and deliver Dolby Atmos around the clock, so an Atmos mix is never a special setup here. It is the baseline the facility runs on.

Eclipsa

Eclipsa Audio is the open, royalty-free immersive format from Google, Samsung and the Alliance for Open Media, built on the IAMF standard and already rolling out across Samsung TVs and YouTube.

We track and produce for Eclipsa because open formats change the economics of immersive delivery, letting your content reach immersive-capable living rooms and platforms without a per-title licensing toll.

MPEG-H

MPEG-H Audio is the Fraunhofer-developed next-generation audio system chosen as the broadcast standard in ATSC 3.0 markets such as South Korea and Brazil, adding immersive sound plus listener-personalized, interactive mixes.

For broadcast-facing work we can author in MPEG-H so productions are ready for next-gen terrestrial and streaming delivery, including the interactive features, like selectable commentary, that set next-generation audio apart from legacy surround.

Apple Spatial Audio

Apple Spatial Audio put immersive sound in hundreds of millions of ears, making head-tracked, three-dimensional audio a mainstream expectation across AirPods, Apple Music and Apple TV.

We produce with Apple's spatial delivery in mind so a mix made here translates from our rooms to the earbuds and devices your audience already carries, closing the gap between the studio and the listener.

Volumetric and holographic capture with matched spatial audio, on the roadmap for the facility.

AINA Tech

AINA Tech works at the frontier of volumetric and holographic production, turning real-world performance into full 6-DOF holographic assets that can live on a headset, a holographic display or a flat screen.

Paired with our patent-pending soundfield capture methodology, AINA is central to our roadmap for true volumetric productions, capturing not just how a performance looks in three dimensions but how it sounds in the same space.

And more

The partners listed here are the core of the facility today, not the ceiling. Immersive media moves fast, and so does our stack.

We are continually evaluating new capture, processing and delivery technology, and we bring the right tools in for the production in front of us. If your workflow depends on something you do not see here, ask.
